This new build office for BOC Gas in Auckland was designed to balance everyday functionality with a clean, modern aesthetic. The brief focused on creating a professional, cohesive workplace environment that supports the practical demands of a high-use commercial office while maintaining strong visual appeal.
The project required a flooring solution that could preserve the original design intent while adapting to changes in project scope. By carefully selecting from the NZ stock ranges - Sphere, Accolade Plus, and Accolade Foothold - the design team delivered a consistent, contemporary finish across all key spaces.
The combination of Sphere: Night Sky, Accolade Plus, and Foothold: Black Opal created a refined, professional look throughout offices, meeting rooms, hallways, and bathrooms, while also delivering significant cost efficiencies for the client.
The result is a cohesive, high-quality flooring solution that meets the durability, performance, and maintenance needs of a busy office environment, without compromising on design integrity. The finished space reflects a modern workplace aesthetic, combining practicality, longevity, and visual consistency across the entire building.
